RAGE QUIT Football — RAGE GAMES

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Who is responsible

RAGE GAMES ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Write to us at the address above for anything in this policy, including any request about your rights. We answer in English, Italian and Portuguese.

2. The short version

  • The game has no accounts. You never give us a name, an email address or a password, and we never ask for one.
  • Everything you unlock — credits, nations, hats, trophies, missions, settings — is stored on your phone.
  • The game requests one Android permission: internet access. Nothing else. No location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no camera, no files.
  • Data does leave your phone in four situations, and only those: advertising, anonymous usage statistics, purchases, and online matches.
  • Advertising and statistics only happen if you agree to them, and you can change your mind at any time from the game's settings.

3. What the game keeps on your phone

The game stores the following in the app's own private storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and other apps cannot read it.

  • Your progress: credits, unlocked nations, hats, trophies, missions completed, tournaments won, the nation currently selected.
  • Your settings: language, sound, music, vibration, control mode.
  • Housekeeping: whether you have seen the intro, which day you last collected the daily credits, whether you have purchased the ad-free version.

This is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data from Android settings. If you have turned on cloud save (section 4.5), a copy also exists in your Google account.

4. What leaves your phone, and why

4.1 Advertising — Google AdMob

The game is free and is paid for by advertising. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob.

What is processed: your device's advertising ID, your IP address, device and app information (model, operating system, app version, language, coarse location derived from the IP), and how you interacted with an ad.

Personalised or not: if you agree to personalised advertising, AdMob may use that data to choose ads based on your interests. If you refuse, you still see ads, but they are chosen without using your past behaviour.

Who decides: Google acts as an independent controller for the advertising data it collects. What it does with it is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's own privacy policy.

Your advertising ID can be reset or deleted at any time in Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops personalised advertising across every app on the phone.

If you buy "Remove Ads", the game stops requesting advertisements, and the data described in this section stops being collected for that purpose.

4.2 Usage statistics — Google Firebase Analytics

To understand what works in the game and what does not, the app records a small set of events: a match started and how it ended, a tournament won, a mission completed, an ad shown or declined, how long the online queue took, which control mode was chosen, and errors that occurred.

What is processed: the events above, an app instance identifier generated by Firebase, device model, operating system version, app version, language, and the country derived from the IP address.

What is never recorded: anything you write or say, your position in the real world beyond the country, the contents of your device, or any identifier that points to you as a person.

We use these statistics only in aggregate, to decide what to change in the game.

4.3 Purchases — Google Play Billing

If you buy the ad-free version, a pack of credits or any other item, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see, receive or store your card number, your billing address or any other payment detail.

Google tells the app only that a given purchase has succeeded, so that the app can unlock what you bought. Google's processing of your purchase is governed by Google's own privacy policy and the Google Play terms.

4.4 Online matches — our bridge on Cloudflare

To play against another person, the two phones have to be connected to each other. This is done by a small server (a "bridge") that we run on Cloudflare Workers.

What the bridge receives:

  • your IP address, which is unavoidable: without it no connection can be made at all. It is used to connect you and to place your match in a data centre near you, and it is used for nothing else;
  • the continent your connection comes from, which Cloudflare supplies, used to choose the queue you wait in;
  • your trophy count, sent when you look for a ranked match, used only to find you an opponent of similar strength;
  • the room code, when you play with a friend;
  • the match traffic itself: the nation you picked, the hat you wear, the proportion of your screen, your thumb movements during play, and the preset emoji either player sends.

What the bridge does with it: it passes the bytes from one phone to the other, unchanged. It does not read them, does not decode them and does not store them.

What the bridge keeps: nothing. There is no database. A room exists in memory only while the match is being played and disappears when both players leave. We keep no record of who played whom, no chat history and no match history on any server.

Cloudflare acts as our processor and may keep its own short-lived operational records of connections, as described in its privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4.5 Cloud save — Google Play Games

If your device is signed in to Google Play Games and you allow it, the game can save your progress (the same data as section 3) to your Google account, so it survives a lost or replaced phone.

The save contains only game progress. It is stored by Google under your own account, and you can delete it at any time from the Play Games app.

If you do not use Play Games, nothing is saved outside your phone.

4.6 The rating prompt

After a number of matches, the game may show the standard Google Play rating dialog. That dialog belongs to Google Play, not to us: we do not learn whether you rated the game, or what you wrote.

5. What we never collect

To be explicit, the game does not collect, and cannot collect:

  • your name, email address, telephone number or postal address;
  • your precise location (the app never requests location permission);
  • your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera;
  • anything you type outside the game, or anything from other apps;
  • health, biometric, financial or any other special category of data.

The only Android permission the app declares is internet access. You can check this on the Play Store listing, under "App permissions".

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation applies. Our legal bases are:

WhatLegal basis
Advertising (personalised or not)Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a)
Usage statisticsYour consent, Art. 6(1)(a)
Connecting an online matchPerformance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) — you asked to play online
PurchasesPerformance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b)
Cloud saveYour consent, Art. 6(1)(a)
Keeping the service working and stopping abuseLegitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f)

The first time you open the game in a country where consent is required, you are asked before any advertising or statistics request is made. Nothing is sent until you answer.

You can change that answer at any time: Settings → PRIVACY, inside the game. The same screen you saw at the start opens again, and your new choice takes effect immediately.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened lawfully before you withdrew it.

8. Who else receives data

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers that make the game work:

WhoWhat forTheir policy
Google (AdMob, Firebase, Play Billing, Play Games)advertising, statistics, purchases, cloud savepolicies.google.com/privacy
Cloudflareconnecting online matchescloudflare.com/privacypolicy

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

9. Where your data goes

Google and Cloudflare operate worldwide, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Details are in the providers' own policies linked above.

Our own bridge deliberately runs your match in the data centre closest to you, so for most matches the traffic stays inside your own region.

10. How long data is kept

WhatHow long
Progress on your phoneuntil you uninstall the app or clear its data
Cloud saveuntil you delete it from Play Games
Usage statisticsat most 14 months, then deleted by Firebase
Advertising dataas decided by Google; see its policy
Online match datanot kept — the room disappears when the match ends
Emails you send usas long as needed to answer, then deleted

11. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

  • know what data concerning you we process;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent, at any time.

Because the game has no accounts, we usually cannot connect any data to you as a person: there is nothing on our side that carries your name. For advertising and statistics, the fastest and most complete route is:

  • turn off consent in Settings → PRIVACY inside the game;
  • reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads;
  • uninstall the app, which removes everything stored on the phone.

If you want us to act on a request, write to support@rage-games.com. We reply within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

12. If you are in the United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing personalised advertising may count as a "sale" or as "sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising" under the laws of some states.

To opt out: open Settings → PRIVACY in the game and refuse personalised advertising. Your choice is passed on to our advertising partner through the standard Global Privacy Platform signal. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.

We do not knowingly process the sensitive personal information of any resident, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit.

13. If you are in Brazil

The Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Law 13.709/2018) applies to you. The rights in section 11 are the rights the LGPD gives you as a data subject: confirmation and access, correction, anonymisation or deletion, portability, information about who the data is shared with, and the right to withdraw consent.

The legal bases in section 6 correspond to consent (Art. 7, I), performance of a contract (Art. 7, V) and legitimate interests (Art. 7, IX).

Requests: support@rage-games.com. You may also complain to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).

14. Children

RAGE QUIT Football is not directed to children. It is rated for players aged 13 and over, and it is distributed as such on Google Play.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or under the higher age set by local law, where one applies). If you believe a child has used the game and that data concerning them has been collected, write to support@rage-games.com and we will delete it.

15. Security

The connection between the game and our bridge is encrypted (WSS/TLS). The data stored on your phone lives in the app's private storage, which Android keeps separate from other apps. We hold no central database of players, which means there is no store of player data to be breached.

No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.

16. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version appears at this address and the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant — a new category of data, a new provider, a new purpose — we will say so inside the game before it takes effect.

17. Contact

18. This website

Sections 1 to 17 are about the game. This last one is about rage-games.com itself.

The website sets no cookies, runs no third-party analytics and has no accounts. There is nothing here to log in to and nothing here that follows you.

The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, page requested — for security and troubleshooting. We do not read them to build a profile of anybody.

The language you choose is saved in your own browser, on your own device. It never leaves it. If one day this site needs analytics, this page changes first.
